Maxibit Timeline
How it all started
In the 70s the exhibition floor was the only place for business to business companies to get the opportunity to meet their customers. Carpenters and decorators were hired to build showcases and when the exhibition was over they rolled in the containers and it all became trash. There was no portable and reusable marketing material.
Then the oil crises arrived together with economic and environmental thinking. The need arose for marketing materials that was both portable and reusable. 1978 Maxibit introduced the world's first patented foldable wall with exchangeable graphics – the Original 8.
For the first time business to business companies could reuse their marketing materials over and over. They were no longer restricted to the trade fair. They were able to meet their customer anywhere, at any time – a true marketing revolution!
